August 1, 2017 marks the opening of the THOMAS K. SALESE MEMORIAL MAGIC LENDING LIBRARY- for magicians only.

Visit the Sparta Avenue Stage to peruse and take out one of the books, tapes or DVDs from the private collection of Thomas K. Salese with additional donations from professional magicians, Fred Schlosshauer (a.k.a "Oscar the Magician", "BoJ the Clown") and the late Gene Cowell (a.k.a. “Blondegene the Magician“).

About Thomas K . Salese-

Thomas K. Salese was an enthusiastic amateur magician who passed away on October 8, 2008.  Born February 11, 1952 in the Bronx, the son of Anthony and Eleanor Ricci Salese, he was raised and educated in the Bronx, graduated from Mt. St. Michael Academy and Lehman College where he received his BA in Psychology. He was the proprietor of Thomas K. Salese Antiques in Larchmont, NY. and was an antique dealer and auctioneer for over 35 years. He was an avid reader and an aspiring author who loved to travel,  play basketball, and study close-up magic. Mr. Salese’s collection of magic books, tapes and lecture notes were donated to Sparta Stage Inc. by his wife Norma and their three children: Jessica, David and Elizabeth. His collection is now available for magicians to utilize in his Memorial Magic Lending Library.
